Eligibility
Policyholder & additional drivers
- You have a current full UK or European Union license (for a minimum of 1 year)
- You are aged 24 - 75 years
- You have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence in the last 3 years
- You have not been disqualified from driving in the last 5 years
- You have not had more than one fault claim in the last 3 years
-The vehicle to be covered
++has not been modified
++has no more than 8 seats in total
++is registered in Great Britain, Northern Ireland or the Isle of Man
-You don't plan to use the vehicle for carrying passengers or goods for hire or reward.
-You require cover for a vehicle which you would be permitted to drive using a standard full UK licence.
-The minimum market value of the vehicle to be insured is £1,500.
-The maximum amount payable under this policy in respect of loss or damage to the vehicle is £40,000.

For Comprehensive policies, subject to policy terms, we indemnify the policyholder in respect of his/her insurable interest in the vehicle subject to a £250 or £500 excess. In the event of repairable damage we will normally use the Royal & Sun Alliance approved repairer system. In the event of total loss, any settlement will normally be negotiated with and made to the policyholder and it will then be the policyholder's responsibility to clear any liability to the owner of the vehicle. The policy does not cover any liability to any party in respect of loss of use or availability of the vehicle. For full terms please see the policy wording.
All Comprehensive policies carry Accidental Damage, Fire & Theft identified on the policy schedule and have a limit of indemnity in respect of loss of or damage to the vehicle of £40,000.
All our customers have additional cover in respect of uninsured loss recovery.
